Overview

Have your say

Interested stakeholders are invited to make submissions on both the AER's draft decision and Transgrid's revised proposal by 20 January 2023.

Transgrid is the provider of electricity transmission network services to NSW and ACT electricity consumers. Under the National Electricity Rules (NER) Transgrid must submit its revenue proposal for its network to the AER by 31 January 2022 for the 2023–28 regulatory control period, starting 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2028. A revenue proposal sets out the revenue a network service provider proposes to collect from its electricity consumers through transmission network charges over a 5-year regulatory control period.

On 31 January 2022, Transgrid submitted its 2023–28 revenue proposal to the AER. In March 2022, the AER published an issues paper. In April 2022, the AER held a public forum to assist stakeholders in their consideration of the Transgrid's proposal. Submissions and presentations from the online forum are available on our website.

On 30 September 2022, the AER published its draft decision on Transgrid's proposal. The AER held an online forum on the draft decision on 12 October 2022.

On 2 December 2022, Transgrid submitted its revised proposal.

Interested stakeholders are invited to make submissions on both the AER's draft decision and Transgrid's revised proposal by 20 January 2023.
