On 26 September 2025, Ausgrid withdrew its initial contingent project application. It submitted a revised application on 31 October 2025 with updated information for its 'Addressing Increased Customer Demand Requirements in the Macquarie Park Area' contingent project. 

We invite energy consumers and other interested parties to make submissions on Ausgrid's contingent project application Friday, 5 December 2025.
