On 30 October 2015 AusNet Services submitted its electricity transmission regulatory proposal, proposed negotiating framework and proposed pricing methodology to the AER.

This notice is an approximate indication of the proportion and comparative proportion of material in AusNet Services revenue proposal for 2017-22 that is subject to a claim of confidentiality.

Under clause 6A.2.2(3) of the NER, the AER's transmission determination for AusNet Services must set out the Negotiated Transmission Service Criteria (NTSC). The NTSC determined by the AER must give effect to, and be consistent with, the negotiated transmission service principles set out in clause 6A.9.1 of the NER.

Submissions on AusNet Services’ revenue proposal closed on 4 February 2016. On 7 April 2016 the AER received a submission from AusNet Services regarding three synchronous condensers on its network which have reached the end of their economic lives. The AER may, but need not, consider a submission it receives after the consultation period has ended.

On 11 December 2015 the AER released an issues paper on AusNet Services' transmission regulatory proposal. The issues paper sets out our initial views of AusNet Services' proposal, including what we think will be some of the key issues in our assessment.

On 17 December 2015, the AER held a stakeholder forum on the revenue proposal submitted by AusNet Services for its electricity transmission network.
