On 31 January 2025, we received a regulatory proposal from Victorian electricity distributor CitiPower for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2031. 

We published an issues paper on 28 March 2025 and held a public forum on 1 April 2025. Submissions closed on 14 May 2025.

On 30 September 2025, we released our draft decision for CitiPower. We held an online pre-determination conference on our draft decision on 14 October 2025.

On 1 December 2025, CitiPower submitted its revised proposal. 

 

 

Background

A regulated network business must periodically apply to us to determine the maximum allowed revenue it can recover from consumers for using its network. In assessing these proposals, it is our role to ensure that consumers pay no more than is necessary for an energy system that delivers safe, reliable, secure energy that contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
